Principles of Economics: Micro
Description:This is an introductory course focusing on choices of individual economic decision-makers. Topics include scarcity, specialization and trade, market equilibrium, elasticity, production and cost theory, market structures, factor markets, and market failure. Portions of instruction may be offered online; may also be offered fully online. [C-ID ECON 201]

Prerequisite: Elementary algebra or higher, or eligibility for transfer-level mathematics
Recommended Preparation:Completion of or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 1A or ENGL 1AE; Intermediate Algebra
