Description:This course examines current theory and research and applies it to the care and education of infants and toddlers in group settings. Examines essential policies, principles and practices that lead to quality care and developmentally appropriate curriculum for children birth to 36 months. Portions of instruction may be offered online; may also be offered fully online.

 This course runs for the second half of the semester and allows students to complete two electives in one semester. Also enroll in 62A this semester to complete the 6 unit elective requirement. HYBRID COURSE: This course requires in-person meetings based on the day(s), time(s), and location(s) shown above AND requires students to complete additional class time on their own time to meet established due dates each week. Students should dedicate the number of hours per week shown above for in-person and online class activities plus additional time for studying and homework. This class may transition online/be suspended in the event of a campus closure or other emergency situation. This section is offered at the MPC Marina Education Center, 289 12th Street, Marina, CA 93933. This hybrid class is taught using CANVAS. Students must have regular access to a computer with high-speed Internet and be familiar with using the Internet.
