Ceramic Handbuilding II
Description:This course is a continuation of ARCE 1A, including handbuilding techniques, experimentation with clay bodies, glazing, and finishing processes. Portions of instruction may be offered online; may also be offered fully online.
Prerequisites:ARCE 1A (or ARTC 1A or ART 70A)
Recommended Preparation:Completion of or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 1A or ENGL 1AE

 ONLINE COURSE: This online course requires students to complete course assignments and activities on their own time to meet established due dates each week. Students should dedicate the number of hours per week shown above for online class activities plus additional time for studying and homework. This online class is taught using CANVAS. This course requires students to purchase the following materials: Basic ceramic tools and clare are needed to complete the course. Tools may be purchased online or from Michaels, Phoenix Ceramics Supply, or at the MPC Ceramics Studio. Clay can be purchased at Phoenix Ceramics Supply or at the MPC Ceramics Studio.
