| Firefighter I Observation and Certification Assessment |
| Description: | This course prepares and assesses students who have successfully completed the Firefighter training standards for the California State Fire Marshal Office Firefighter I certification examination. Students can contact the Director of the Public Safety Training Center or refer to the State Fire Marshal Office web site for additional information. |
| Limits on Enrollment: | A signed statement by the agency's Fire Chief identifying the sponsored student has completed all SFT cognitive and psychomotor requirements for Firefighter I; Documented approval from SFT for a certification exam retest; Documented completion of an accredited Fire Academy and applying for certification testing. |
| Repeatability: | May be repeated once if grade was D or F. |
