| | LIVE/SYNCHRONOUS ONLINE COURSE: This is a live online course taught using Canvas and online video conferencing tools. Students are required to meet online each week on MTWThF from 9:00 to 9:50 am. Students must have regular access to a computer with a webcam, access to high-speed Internet, and be familiar with using the Internet. Quizzes and exams will be proctored in Canvas using the Proctorio extension in the Chrome browser, and so students will need a computer capable of running Canvas, Chrome, and Proctorio, such as a Chromebook (which can be checked-out from MPC). Students will also need to be able to take pictures of their written work and submit it to Canvas, which can be done using free apps on a smartphone.
Students will need to purchase Cengage Unlimited or have access from a previous semester. The cost will be approximately $120. Information about these materials will be announced at the beginning of the semester. Click on the Lobo Apps link on the MPC website to access Canvas, your MPC e-mail, and other online tools.
