Latinos in American Government |
Description: | This course analyzes the relationship between Latinos and the American political system at the state, local, and national levels. Emphasis is placed on America's political systems, its political institutions, the principles and process that give rise to them, and their impact on Latinos as an ethnic minority in the context of American political democracy. Emphasis is also placed on the Mexican-American political experience. Also offered as ETNC 18; credit may be earned only once. Portions of instruction may be offered online; may also be offered fully online. |
