Basic Police Requalification Course
Description:This 136-hour course expands upon fundamental principles, procedures, and techniques of law enforcement. The course is certified by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) guidelines for Regular Basic course re-qualification requirements.
Limits on Enrollment:Commission on Police Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) certified basic law enforcement academy diploma or equivalent as determined by the Dean of Academy Instruction. NOTE: Approval of equivalent training is not a guarantee state regulatory or licensing agencies will also grant equivalency.
Repeatability:May be repeated once if grade was D or F.
