Defensive Tactics Instructor
Description:This 80-hour course meets the training requirements of the Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.). It covers control techniques, weapon retention, legal issues, and additional topics designed to provide training for students to become instructors in defensive tactics. (P.O.S.T.-certified)
Limits on Enrollment:Successful completion of the P.O.S.T. Basic Police Academy, P.O.S.T. Basic Certificate, or equivalent
Repeatability:May be repeated once if grade was D or F.
