Description: | This course is part of a two course core-requisite program designed to provide the student with the academic and manipulative skills required for certification as a Firefighter I through the California State Fire Marshal's Office. The course requires significant commitment in time and dedication to complete. It requires both academic and physical skills in addition to extra motivation to endure the intensive schedule. |
Prerequisites: | EMMS 170A or EMMS 170B (or EMMS 170) or equivalent EMT course; Corequisite: FPTC 105B |
Recommended Preparation: | Elig for ENGL 111 or ENSL 110 and Course Completion of FPTC 101 |
Limits on Enrollment: | Biddle or CPAT test; and doctor's physical examination including spirometry |
Repeatability: | May be repeated once if grade was D or F. |
