Description: | This course is for the study, rehearsal, and public performance of literature appropriate to the choral ensemble, with an emphasis on the development of skills needed to perform within a choral ensemble. Different literature is studied each semester. Choice of ensemble is based on each student’s identified major instrument or voice. This course is designed for the advanced singer; it includes demanding choral repertoire that prepares the student for the skill level required for transfer to an upper division music curriculum in vocal performance or vocal music education.
