| Description: | This is a course on Mexican-American art and the historical, political, spiritual, and aesthetic antecedents that have nurtured the development of visual culture. It explores the negotiation of identities in Mexican-American artwork in relation to the politics and iconography of the Chicano movement and analysis of contemporary Mexican-American art genres. |
