Emergency Medical Technician 1: Basic Training
Description:This is part of a two-course co-requisite program designed to meet the State of California Requirements for certification as an Emergency Medical Technician Basic (Ambulance). Emergency Medical Technician Basic Training is designed to meet the Department of Transportation, National Registry of EMTs, and State of California requirements for certification as an EMT-Basic (Ambulance) crew member.
Prerequisites:Corequisite: EMMS 170B; and Non-Course Prerequisite: Students must have completed a CPR basic life support for the healthcare provider level that meets the most recent American Heart Association guidelines.
Repeatability:May be repeated once if grade was D or F.
