Description:This is an introductory course focusing on choices of individual economic decision-makers. Topics include scarcity, specialization and trade, market equilibrium, elasticity, production and cost theory, market structures, factor markets, and market failure. Portions of instruction may be offered online; also offered fully online. [C-ID ECON 201]
Prerequisites:MATH 261 or MATH 261B or high school algebra
Recommended Preparation:Completion of or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 1A; MATH 263
Transferability:CSU; UC
