Introduction to Library and Research Skills
Description:Satisfies the MPC Information Competency Graduation Requirement. This course is designed to teach and strengthen the information competency and research skills of college students. The course provides students with the life-long learning skills needed to access, evaluate, and utilize information resources, including full-text periodical databases, Internet resources, and online catalogs, as well as materials traditionally located in the library. Portions of instruction may be offered online; may also be offered fully online.
Recommended Preparation:Completion of or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 1A
