| Description: | This is the second in a series of two intensive courses of training certified by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training to meet the statutory basic training requirements for Peace Officers. It covers the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to exercise the power of California Peace Officer. It also covers concepts and issues of the criminal justice system, law, evidence, investigations, juvenile procedure, patrol, cultural diversity/discrimination, and community relations. The course requires a significant commitment in time and in statutory basic training requirements. |

| Limits on Enrollment: | Passing score on the WSTB Physical Agility exam.
