Introduction to Social Justice
Description:This course offers an interdisciplinary study of race and ethnicity in the United States. It examines social justice movements in relation to cultural, ethnic, and racial groups in the United States to provide a basis for a better understanding of the socio-economic, cultural, and political conditions among key social groups. It also examines the historical experience of diverse groups in relation to the social construction of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and class. Portions of instruction may be offered online; also offered fully online. [C-ID SJS 110]
