Observation and Assessment |
Description: | This course examines the appropriate use of assessment and observation strategies to document young children's development and learning. There is an emphasis on the use of findings to inform and plan learning environments and experiences. Recording strategies, rating systems, portfolios, and multiple assessment tools are explored along with strategies for collaboration with families and professionals. Portions of instruction may be offered online; may also be offered fully online. [C-ID ECE 200] |
