Description: | This course explores the rise of civilizations in the Near East and Mediterranean from the late Bronze Age to the rise of the Roman Empire, including the Babylonians, Assyrians, Persians, Mycenaeans, Minoans, Hebrews, Greeks and Romans. Topics include art, architecture, philosophy, religion, literature, and history of these civilizations. Not open to students with credit in GENT 2, 3, or WRLD 2, 3, 4A. |
