Description:This is a practical course designed to help students develop their catering leadership skills. Students develop menus, meet with clients, manage staff, design plating and table displays, and create successful catered events. Portions of instruction may be offered online.

 HYBRID COURSE: This course is taught using Canvas. Click on the Lobo Apps link on the MPC home page to access Canvas, your MPC e-mail, and other online tools. Visit the Canvas Help Desk for help accessing your online course. The instructor will send out a welcome e-mail and instructions for the first week's course activities online the week before class starts. Class lecture and discussion will take place online, lab hours will take place on campus in room FC-104. Students must have regular access to a computer with hi-speed Internet and will need to get on-line 2-3 times per week, be familiar with using the Internet, creating word or rich text documents, and uploading documents to hand in assignments. YOU WILL BE DROPPED from this class if you do not email instructor mjansen@mpc.edu PRIOR to the start of the course.
