Description: | The course studies the two centuries which shaped all subsequent Western history: the Golden Age of Greece. The Persian and Pelopponesian Wars, the the rise of Greek democracy, the beginnings of philosophy (and Plato and Aristotle), and Greek theater and art are some of the topics treated. Not open to students with credit in WRLD 20. |
